Pender & Howe's Commitment to ESG
ESG in Action: Supporting Boardroom Diversity
Pender & Howe Executive Search is committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
As a pillar of our ESG commitment, we are delighted to continue supporting the Excellence in Canadian Board Governance (ECBG) program created by Women In Bio - Greater Montreal, in partnership with the McGill Executive Institute and Rotman School of Management.
This program accelerates building diversity in the boardroom by providing women in C-suite, senior executive, and founder positions within Canada's Life Science and Biotechnology sectors with increased board leadership opportunities. The ECBG program equips board members with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of board responsibilities and governance issues effectively. It provides a framework for refined decision-making and establishes a pipeline of prospective life science directors with specialized board governance knowledge, enabling smooth integration into board roles.
Our commitment to ESG aligns with the mission of WIB-Greater Montreal and Executive Women In Bio (EWIB) in promoting, empowering, and elevating diversity and inclusion in biopharma and the life sciences.
