Aside from his day-to-day operations of running the firm, his most recent search projects include successfully recruiting a CEO for a technology company backed by a global family office, facilitating the transition of a founder at a NASDAQ-listed business, supporting two new critical leadership hires for a prominent private school, and advising on a leadership expansion for a late-stage VC-backed unicorn entering the North American market from Asia.
With a natural curiosity for unlocking the secrets of high-performing individuals, it's no surprise that he landed in the executive search industry, where he engages daily with senior business leaders, learning all about their journeys and supporting many on their next chapter.
His introduction to the world of high-performance began on the golf course, where he passionately competed for years and admired those at the pinnacle of their game. This passion for elite athletes merged with his curiosity about top-tier business leaders.
In addition to his role at Pender & Howe, he holds a position on the Executive Board of Directors for Kestria, a collective of boutique executive search firms spanning 40+ countries with 600+ Consultants. In this capacity, he actively contributes to shaping the organization's strategic direction and fostering its global impact.
When not in the office, you will likely find Travis with his wife and two Australian Shepherds exploring the outdoors together, on the golf course, reading, or traveling abroad. Over the last decade, Travis has had the privilege of visiting various countries in Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, and North America.
